TCRAS

the teller county regional animal shelter website project was my first time in an innovation teams class where my team worked with teller county regional animal shelter (TCRAS) to build a new website, move data from their old website to their new website and update their social media to attract more attention to their shelter.

My team and I worked with TCRAS to build a new website for them, they had an outdated website so we were tasked with creating a new website and moving all of their information over while keeping the website easy for them to maintain in house. My group was also tasked with updating their social media and creating a plan to get their name out there increasing traffic to their website.

I mainly worked on creating the new design for the website and was also in charge of the transfer of their old information to the new website. The website was built using a simple website builder and most of the back end was already in place so I just created the different pages and made them look better than their old website. We got their new website up in time for their next event. overall the project was a big success, they have reported an increased number of people viewing and adopting through the website and it is still easy for them to update and maintain.
